Located in Beşiktaş, Istanbul, this 150 m² private residence was designed to reflect the personality, lifestyle and individual tastes of its owner, a woman in her sixties. The project sought to create a home that feels both elegant and deeply personal, bringing together timeless design elements, contemporary comfort and a strong sense of belonging.

A sophisticated palette of Prussian blue and softened blue-grey tones establishes the visual identity of the interiors. Used across wall panelling, custom cabinetry and architectural details, these colours create a sense of continuity throughout the residence. Warm wood finishes, delicate metallic accents and carefully selected textiles introduce contrast, depth and warmth.

The design draws on a refined dialogue between classical and contemporary elements. Decorative ceiling mouldings, elegant lighting fixtures and traditional furniture details coexist with clean-lined cabinetry and comfortable modern upholstery. In the living and dining areas, layered textures and a carefully balanced colour scheme create inviting spaces for both everyday living and entertaining.

Particular attention was given to the integration of the owner's personal belongings and decorative collections. Custom-designed display cabinets and shelving provide dedicated spaces for treasured objects, allowing the interior to tell a story that extends beyond its architectural character.

The kitchen continues the home's understated elegance through light-toned cabinetry, a generous central island and distinctive pendant lighting, balancing practicality with a welcoming domestic atmosphere. Throughout the residence, materials, lighting and details were selected to create a cohesive yet individually expressive environment.

The entire project, from initial design through site supervision and implementation, was undertaken over eight months. Close attention to craftsmanship, detailing and the client's expectations guided every stage of the process.

The result is a warm, characterful and enduring home that combines aesthetic refinement with the comfort of everyday life. Above all, the owner's happiness with her new living environment represents the project's most meaningful achievement.
