BUDAPEST FERENC LISZT INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
CIP LOUNGE

Interior Design & Project Implementation | 300 m²

Designed as a refined and welcoming retreat within Budapest International Airport, the Çelebi CIP Lounge brings together contemporary elegance, comfort and functionality in a thoughtfully composed 300 m² interior.

The design establishes a distinctive atmosphere through a carefully balanced palette of warm wood finishes, soft turquoise and muted green tones, complemented by champagne-gold metallic details and sculptural lighting fixtures. Textured wall surfaces, selected artworks and integrated greenery introduce depth and character, creating an environment that feels sophisticated yet relaxed.

The spatial arrangement brings together intimate seating areas, comfortable lounge settings and a contemporary dining space, accommodating different passenger needs within a cohesive interior. Generous windows allow natural daylight to become an integral part of the experience, while layered lighting and carefully selected furnishings contribute to a sense of warmth and understated luxury.

Every element was considered to create a harmonious balance between visual identity, passenger comfort and the practical requirements of an airport hospitality environment.

The entire interior design was developed by Betigül Özker, with project implementation carried out in close collaboration with local teams in Budapest. Through coordinated planning and an efficient execution process, the project was successfully completed within just one month.

The result is a contemporary airport lounge that transforms a transitional space into an inviting hospitality experience, where architecture, materiality and atmosphere come together to offer a moment of calm and comfort within the rhythm of international travel.
